I thought that was a first class event. VERY well organized. Thanks to everyone who worked to make that happen (I won't list names for fear of leaving someone out...)

Next time, I'll make sure my pictures are better...

Somehow, I've found room for 8 more pieces of coral!!!

Brad.

That was nuts! 150+ frags exchanging hands in under 5 hours!

Thanks to all the organizers and a big thanks to skylord for hosting and jason for finding 150+ different ways to say, "What a nice coral".

I Had a great time and all the frags i bought had polyps out within half an hour of being in the tank.

Was glad to meet the great canreef people, with some 3reef and reefcentral posters as well.

Thanks again to Scott and Lil and their family and to the reef network guys (Jason tom chris and kyle) who worked so long and hard for no extra pay for themselves.

also big props to all the buyers and sellers who participated for everything going smoothly

it was A great adventure and experiance.

Thank you Lil and Scott for letting us invade your home and see your amazing system. There were some very nice pieces sold today. Thank you to reef network for putting this great event on and providing us with a place to get some of the rarer and nicer frags in the lower mainland. Now all I have to do is find a place on one of my powerheads to fit all my new frags.
Thanks again, Chris

I believe a good time was had by all. The auction part of the event went very well and fast. We had 25 registered bidders and about 40 people for most of the event. I was impressed with 3 in particular. Two drove all the way from Kamloops just for this frag party, then drove home after. Wow. The third was so determined to be here, when his ride bailed out on him he got on his bicycle and rode in from Langley.

I took a few pics of the event.

The first two will give you an idea of what it takes to store that many frags. Two 6ft tanks in my fish room where absolutely full. My sump was so full it shut down the skimmer.

Heres a couple of crowd shots.

Heres a shot of a few people trying to figure out how to sneak out with my display tank.

And probably one of the most important tools used was the display. Jason McK brought a projector and we were able to show every frag or Mother Colony.

And finally a shot of my wife after the party.....

Oh no no no.....differnt party! Sorry Lil.....lol

All in all it was a great day. Lil and I are happy so many could show up to make this a success. For those who missed it, start planning for this fall.

Scott
