The tank is completely new I unwrapped it myself. The pumps are rated for 1800 gph but they dont push that much out of the return they push about 1000.
The flow in my tank sucks because i dont have the cash right now to purchase a lot. About the angel it has only been in the tank for a night so hes not the problem.

You should have a heater in the tank (preferably 2 in case one fails) that stops the tank from sliding below 76 or so. I think that a lot of the people on here have been moving towards the titanium heaters because they don't have the breakage issue. It could sit in one of your sumps and keep the temp reasonable.

These titanium heaters will not break if dropped but have to be used with a controller.

What?
you can definitely use them without a controller.
I have 2 and one stays on day and night and the other clicks on when my lights click off, no controller and my temp is 80-81 degrees steady as a rock since inception.

To say you need a controller is misinformation and incorrect.
FYI.

To say you don't need a contoller is misinformation IMO. Let me get this straight, you have 1 heater that is on 24/7?

On a side note: Dobber, I think your on the right track by adding more flow.

If you look at the grade of heaters in the link and the wattage you'll see they require a controller. You have 2 300-800 watt heaters in your tank that stay on with no temperature control?
You must live in a freezer.
