I was lucky that I got this advice a while ago, I have avoided Babel ever since.
NCFOM was good to start but lost me half way through. Attonement is another one I had to suffer through a couple weeks back.. the wife loved it.. on the other hand I wanted to poke my eyes out with turkey skewers. It's been a while since I have seen a good movie. I'm a big fan of war movies so 2008 should be good. Der Rote Baron (if they ever peg a north american release date) and Passchendael in the fall

I saw I Am Legend on the weekend and I gotta say it was pretty good. Different concept and lots of action. I would recommend it for sure.
