![]() LOL you guys make me want to go check this movie out. Two small kids == a whole lotta Treehouse and Wiggles movies. Real movies? Man I can't remember the last one I went to go see.
![]() I can't wait for Indiana Jones though..

It's a pretty movie with some good acting but the treatment of each individual story line was so shallow that that 30 minutes in you just don't care any more. They were to busy being clever to bother telling a decent story. |

![]() People are spoiled with action packed intense movie plots, and as soon as a simple one comes out that tells a simple story, everyone thinks it's a poor movie.

![]() That's a pretty ARROGANT thing of you to say
![]() I really doubt any of us here are the thoughtless Hollywood crowd that you're stereotyping and it's pretty insulting that you're insinuating so. Babel was plain, downright boring and drawn out. It was shallow, you couldn't relate to any of the situations and I sure as hell didn't care about intricate associations between the not-so-compelling characters. Thx.

I agree fully with what Albert posted. The film was bad. They took the one maybe a bit compelling story of the Japanese girl and mangled it with heavy handed clever stunts. I know she's deaf, I get it. Having a montage of the inside of a club with no sound gives me the distinct impression the director thought I was too stupid to figure out that deaf means "doesn't hear stuff". It's the film equivalent of Stephen King's trademark adjective eruptions only more pretentious. Kind of like your post really. |
