Thumbs up

Looking very nice Lance!

I love the, less is more, aqua-scaping.

Very much a nautical theme going on around the room...

Thanks Colin. But it has a long, long, long, way to go before it can be shown on the same page as yours; so never post pics of your tank beside mine, OK Besides, my whole tank could fit in a small corner of yours!

Thanks. Yeah, I think it is a little empty looking, but I'm adding more stuff all the time. I also like to give the fishies some swimming room. I'm planning a 150gal in-wall build this fall and the SF Tang will be moved into it.

Very nicely done. The quarter round is a very attractive tank.

Yes, they are nice, but they are a bit difficult too. They look best fairly tight up against the wall which doesn't give much room for running return lines etc. Also the shape of the stand doesn't lend well to a sump underneath. I had to locate the sump out on the sundeck and build an insulated box around it. I was lucky though as our sundeck has 2 levels with steps running up to the higher level. The sump box fits nicely up against the steps and doesn't look bad at all.

I once did a mirror back on a tank and really liked the look compared to the more common black background. I've wondered how that would work on a quarter round.

Oh good! Sailfins are my favourite Tangs, and I would really love to have one, but I don't want a tank big enough to house one!

Just for the record, his wife took credit for the aquascaping .

Looks great Lance, but you need to go down to the city and get more sps so we can start trading
