Cool tempered?

How about using polarized sun glasses to see if it is tempered or not.

I have heard of that, but no-one seems to know what to see/look for when they try that trick. I have polarized contact lenses...wonder if that would work?!

My question is still this...."What is seen as the best practice for drilled tanks?"

Pictures?? List of needed plumbing parts (and where in Calgary to get them)??
