![]() Hopefully someone will step in as I might be off for T5s but seems for the same wattage with MH, the higher the temperature less PAR is there for growth. This you need to balance this against that to get the corals to glow your looking at the higher temperature to actinic. Realize this isn't much help.
There's a huge T5 thread here that might be of help though. Nice setup btw. |

![]() From J&L, try out a UVL AquaSun (10K), and a Giesemann True Actinic. Really nice color, and high output.

![]() Don't bother with PCs if you're wanting to add corals or an anemone at some point...they won't cut it. Buy another T5 unit if all else fails. J&L has good T5 fixtures...a couple different brands, both excellent.

![]() Ahh, good, thx for the heads up. Would have thought PC would be better cause of the more wattage in same size fixture, but I gues all aint what it appears, huh??
