![]() are there any fish out there that shouldn't be exposed to a hyposaline quarantine? I used a hyposaline quarantine for the cinnamon clowns I used to have and it worked out very well. I was thinking of using it on all the fish I get down the road.

![]() don't have a answer but are you planning hypo-salinity even if no problems being show?

![]() All fish have to monitored for signs of stress. I've had a White Cheek Tang and a 6 Line Wrasse that didn't do well in it. Apparently, from what I've read, Wrasses in general don't do well in hypo salinity, and Tangs do poorly in copper.

![]() I have heard scale-less fish don't fare well with hypo, I've also heard they don't need it as ich needs scales to attach to a fish.

![]() I'm going to use it as part of my quarantine rigamarole. Something like 30% of a fish's energy is spent on osmoregulation so hyposaline's good for fish that came out of transport. They can spend their energy recovering instead of just osmoregulation.
Thanks for the info on scaled vs. scaleless fish.
