![]() That baby is a sly rock crab. I could only catch mine at night when they would emerge to wreck havoc on my tank. one ate two fire shrimp in as many days when i first threw in this $50 snack! i threw them out my door

![]() Its eyes are red because it is the spawn of Satan. He's a very bad crab. They can get pretty big too. I had one hitchhike that was about 1.5" wide.

How did you catch your crab? I may have something similar. He runs into his hole in a piece of LR I have every time I try to get him. |

![]() I kind of like the way he looks i heard that spreading your live rock out before introducing it to your tank and letting it sit for a small while (on a tarp) will get these nasty critters to expose themselves making it easy to get rid of most of them just my 2 cents:

They're not THAT important in terms of having an "authentic" reef tank. |

removed him by- /stabbing.with really long tweezers.. then i threw him out side...it was-30's last week... \\no more nasties
