Bigger!

In all honesty though, my dream is a 12 foot x 5 foot by 3 foot. If your going for your dream tank, I'd make it as wide as possible...

That said any 600+ Gallon tank.....FREAKING AWESOME!

An L shaped tank would be awesome, or a Horse Shoe shapped tank |_|

I've been toying with the idea of a "L" shape too, never thought of a horse shoe shape, hmmmm.

GO BIGGER!!!

Not sure you would be able to bend the glass enough for the horse shoe. A large tank will need some thicker glass. The only really curved tanks I've seen have been dual layered with a clear epoxy holding them together in between. Mainly because it's much easier to bend thin glass.

Default If I knew then what I know now....

Had I known that it would be easy to crawl around on top of my acrylic tank, I would have built a 6 x 6 instead of a 6 x 4. On a tank this size I never considered glass for a moment.

I would not go as deep as 36" though. I'm very happy with 28" deep and glad I didn't go deeper.

It depends - are the dimensions in inches or metres?
