![]() Maybe try the end submerged and maybe even have the pipe at a bit of an angle so the water "slides" into the sump rather than "falls" into the sump.

![]() You'll always get air with a Durso, that's the principle of it. Makes for a silent tank but have to deal with the air in the sump. I've got my drains submerge still have noise, good thing sump's in the basement.
No air with a Herbie. |

![]() I have the same problem with the bubble noise. I've heard that if you put a T off of your outlet and submerge one end and have the other act as a 'snorkel' where air can escape, the bubble sound will be reduced. I haven't tried it yet but it's on my 'to do' list when I have a spare moment.
