That's awesome. My wife's cousin breeds Mexican Hairless dogs ... they definitely are a ... um .. unique thing. In this case even more so because they still have a lock of hair on the top of their head ... so they almost have a creepy look to them. But then I imagine them speaking with a Cheech and Chong accent, so it's all good.

I always thought allergies to pets were more about allergies to dander/dandruff. So no allergies to these guys?

A cat is a cat, and that is that. One thing I've noticed, they don't care if they look different.

A lot of people are allergic to the dust in the kitty litter also....so they think they are allergic to cats

It usually is a dander allergy which most people react to. There doesn't seem to be anything at all on the skin in that sense. Except oil. They do get oily because there isn't any hair...we bath them once a week. I didn't know whether I would have a problem until I went to pick him up...let's say I was crossing my fingers! When I walked in the room and there was 10 of them......I knew then because in a normal room with cats I do start to react a bit with watery eyes and such.

He does look like an alien....and a couple of times I have caught myself thinking what did I get? But he is a very cool cat...very dog like! And you're right...they dont' know they're different!

I have to know, what is it like to pet one? Like rubbing a shaved leg? I have to admit I do like them, although I've never seen them in person.
