Does it need to be quiet? I've got a little giant 2-md external. Puts out about 600gph. It's a little loud for me. Brand new impeller and shaft. Bought those two parts 1 month ago and the pump hasn't been used since.

Bump, Anyone need this pump??? would be great in a larger tank
