That's gonna be a pain in the butt to light...kinda like my tank. LOL! I've finally found a decent light setup for my tank. Why did you choose these dimensions?

This is the stand I'm Hoping that Joel aka adidas will be able to build for me..

if the shipping and trim work doesn't drain the wallet.
this will be for my cube tank 30x30 x30

Haha! Well, unless someone changes my mind I'm going to go with a single 400w PFO HQI ballast running an XM 10K mogul bulb in a Lumenarc III pendant reflector, and 2-39w T5 HO's to run actinics. Since I am only running a single MH to span the 36" length, I choose the Lumenarc as it spreads the light better than other reflectors (although it's bulky), the XM bulb which is more intense than most others, and the HQI ballast will overdrive the bulb, and runs particularly well with this bulb. Should make for a very powerful lighting setup...I'm hoping! For your tank I would suggest two MH since your tank is 4 feet long. The Lumenarc's would help to spread the light across your 30" width. You probably only need to run 250w though since you would have 2.

*wolf whistle* Nice stand and canopy!! I could build it...I'm a finish carpenter (among other wood building things haha). I'm saving that pic to the puter for future thought, and maybe use...
