for live rock i buy it from golds, but i usally buy 75% reef bones for the base then buy some live rock for the top wich saves major money

|
reef bones are mined in ontario. I forget what the stuff's callked exactly but public aquariums use the stuff and they buy it in bulk straight from the miners. It's some sort of fossilized coral or something.

5-10lbs, I'm looking for fun shapes though, I have tons of base rock and crappy stuff, I want fun and pretty now.

the reef bones i used to get came from caribsea and where rocks from the ocean just not live, the reef rocks from caribsea are mined rock from above ground which at one time where reefs under ground so they are very simular, ive gotta make some calls but ill find out when and what im getting and let everyone know.
