![]() your lucky if you can get it for $5/lb but its usally $7-10 im gonna be getting a bunch of boxes of caribsea reef bones in the next week i hope, its just dead live rock wich will seed over time ive used it a few times and i cant even tell what rock i payed 7/lb and what i payed 2/lb for
thier in 40lb boxes wich is usally 3-4 rocks so thier great for the base or in bigger tanks ill have some for sale for $80 per box

![]() You can also opt to wait for a forum member to sell their tank. Many of them have decent liverock for cheaper than retail.

![]() for live rock i buy it from golds, but i usally buy 75% reef bones for the base then buy some live rock for the top wich saves major money

![]() reef bones are mined in ontario. I forget what the stuff's callked exactly but public aquariums use the stuff and they buy it in bulk straight from the miners. It's some sort of fossilized coral or something.
