Check it at night with red (less visible for marine life) light to see what is going on there. also might be small snails feding on the mantle, common parasite. |

![]() They are likely pods or mysis and not a problem. What colour are they? Red bugs generally stay on sps, acropora in particular although I have seen them on montipora danae as well and are an amber colour with a dark red head and usually smaller than a spider mite.

![]() it just seems to odd that i notice these things on it and my clam hasen't been opening now i'm noticing that my blue maxima is not doing as well either, fresh water dips ? does the clam have to close completely b/c my crocea does not close fully even when handled.
