![]() I have had a terrible time finding any information on the heart urchin online. I'm assuming it is this species: Echinocardium cordatum. What exactly do they eat, how big do they get, and are they reef safe?

![]() they are detrivores that require a deep sandbed...awesome for a big tank with a ssb or a dsb....cover the ground of 10 sand sifting stars...

![]() they require a larger tank, or old sand bed... had a buddy that had 6 in a 400 gallon, and barely had detritus... he also had about 6 sand sifting stars too. and the sand was 5 inches...
