One of the ones I liked that you can drive on the Whitemud (freeway within Edmonton city) doing 160km/hr (80K limit) and not loose you licence, just pay a find. Was big though something like $1500 and guy had a lawyer but still kept his license.

I once had a cop pull me over and say (and I quote) "Did you notice that when you turned right at the last light you WOBBLED when you turned" I never got a ticket but it took every ounce of will power not to say: Is that a technical term officer?

Not really sure how one could wobble when they turn a corner anyways, but who knows!?

I've also found that if you are speeding it's best to be honest with the officer, honesty seems to go a long way with cpos. I guess some are tired of hearing BS stories/excuses.

I'd say challenge the ticket. I was in court with a friend last time because he was disputing a ticket he got for running a red light. While we waited, we saw this guy get away with driving without a liscence in an uninsured vehicle, just because the officer didn't show up.
