To paraphrase "leave it to the professionals as they'll do a better job", fake corals and silk plants?

so....a person hires a professional to come to your house to install a salt water tank....finishes then leaves....and now this homeowner is standing there looking at a tank and has no clue or limited clue as to what or how this thing works.....and lets face it.....professional really just means that he is paid to do this job......

Im pretty sure that most hobbyist know more then this guy......and then think how much money people have invested into their systems....they research the hell out of it to do it right.... funny how you can throw the word professional around and it just makes everything ok.

I want to get one of those pumps that pull the water out of the overflow into the sump, wait a minute…. I think that’s best left for professionals.

Not everyone with a saltwater tank is a rabid hobbyist, lots of people just like pretty moving furniture. They want somebody to do everything for them.

I'm don't agree with everything he said but I think he did an ok job considering the audience it was aimed at.
