![]() I believe the general rule of thumb is that the fine will likely be reduced if you show up for your first appearance instead of paying it right away now.
Of course everyone makes mistakes, but if it wasn't a mistake... I say if you do the crime you pay the fine!

![]() I challenged a speed ticket about a month ago. Cop was there but they still threw out.
Should go anyways, good entertainment. |

![]() It is very good entertainment....but the lost wages for the day will pay for the ticket. I went to fight a speeding ticket once and sat there all day and didnt get my turn....asked me to come back tomorrow....I just paid it on the way out...
I cant believe how many people were in there for fines for urinating in a public place.....and it has a hefty fine to it. |

![]() One of the ones I liked that you can drive on the Whitemud (freeway within Edmonton city) doing 160km/hr (80K limit) and not loose you licence, just pay a find. Was big though something like $1500 and guy had a lawyer but still kept his license.
