![]() I haven't seen the expelled byssal...but my clam has always moved around quite a bit. I let him go where he wants.

![]() They can expel the Gland, or part of. As long as they do it naturally, and it's not yanked out, it should be fine.

![]() Its probably going to be fine, I would just prop it back up. My clams have slimed out that stuff before there were no ill effects from the event.

![]() I have 2 clams 1 stands straight up but the other always jumps and wat's to lay on his side against something so I leave um ......never barfed anything like that out though
