Has anyone else had a nightmare about their tank?

I've been woken up to loud dursos or pipes sucking air. I freak out and run downstairs preparing for the worst. Another time it was a crab that made it into the intake of my return pump. But there is nothing like waking up thinking the water isn't in the tank anymore. In this regard ppl with 20 gallons must sleep like babies!

From personal experience, I can say that even 10 gallons of salt water can make quite a bit of mess. Snick-crack-whoosh. There's a good soundtrack for a nightmare...

Every now and again I'll have a dream that there's some tank somewhere that I've forgotten about, and I'll find it after it having been run unattended for like 6 months and there will be 1" of water in there. And yet strangely there would still be things alive in there.

I'm not sure that I've dreamt about a tank letting go (if I have, I don't recall). I do enough to spill water on the floor in real life that (I hope) I don't need to dream about it to fill that particular niche in my life.

I dreamt once of fairly large aquatic monster like creatures coming out of the LR in my Triggerfish tank. Seriously. They were sorta alligator like, but not. It was some time ago and I really don't remember what they looked like. It was kinda freaky. I sleep beside this tank as it's in the bedroom.

Pleasant dreams,

I had my biggest panic attack just last week. I was driving HOME after a long day at work when the innocent little thought crossed my mind... "I remember turning off the RO top off before I left for work this morning didn't I" After a mental run down of my morning where I remember waking up late, turning the RO feed into the tank on but have no recollection of turning it off before I rush out the door... I eventually convince myself that I left the freshwater running into the tank from 7am onwards.

First I drove faster, then I realized that if I did leave it running everything would be dead by now anyways. Then I came to the conclusion that my wife probably beat me home and had already discovered the disaster. With weary resignation I realized that if I had left the water running and killed off my tank, that would necessitate enough water on the floor to justify me running off to Montana. When I got home, it took me an hour to work up the nerve to go see if there was a disaster in the basement. Fortunately, I didn't have to go to Montana!
