What’s the point posting on any “Other” board where everyone is talking about same thing? boring... Its like as if all the cars would be same brand and color, where is the fun in that?

Besides I am not that smart to put out a good argument, all I can do is copy paste from some web site that’s all.

The best part in posting on this board is that everyone can voice an opinion in one or two complete sentences and there is no interruption. Isn’t that cool?
If one person out of all on this board finds something worthy, funny or interesting in any of the staff posted, it would make my day.

I am OK being different; this is very good learning experience.
On the other hand it is very easy to be a skeptic; no work, no research needed just deny everything or even worse get mad, because of some shmuck out there in cyber space.

What hard and challenging is when you can do some thinking and change your mind about something when new evidence is presented.
Not too long ago Earth was flat, and in the center of the universe; we are far from that state of mind now are we not? So why can’t we explore further?

Someone smart said that;
Our knowledge is like a circle and inside this circle is what we know.
Circumference of the circle is how much we know, beyond this is what we do not know yet.
The more we know the bigger the circle and bigger the circumference, the more we realize how much MORE we don’t know (beyond the circumference of the circle).

I hope I kept that neutral enough
I'll be the first to admit that I don't look at many of your posts in the lounge and find only maybe 10% the slightest bit interesting. With that being said, I do reallise that it is just like any lounge on the net or irl and that I won't allway's be interested in the conversation that goes on there. It's not like you're hijacking someone elses thread, so I think many people will learn to use the back button and move on to something of interest.

Kudo's to you for keeping your composure even after you had other members hijack your threads with their whinning and complaining. I wonder what would come of this forum if everyone went into every thread they didn't approve of to try and derail it.

I'm probably not the only person to feel this way, but maybe one of the few who will say it.

Cheers.

So I assume you're including the staff who posted their reasons why, {which seem to fall on a deaf ear}, in that particular statement? Just wondering.

Does that not show part of the problem with the threads. Its obvious that it splits the members. Some like them, some dont and so on. Then we have to deal with it.

Thats the reason why we wonder about the threads, which is all the staff have done. None have been closed, unless its gotten out of hand.

I hope you dont mind me offering my opinion on them, which is all I,m doing.

im no mod, but if i might be so bold, I suggest a compromise. Russel, How about you make one thread for your conspiracies. period. just one, and instead of making a new thread for. every. single. new. theory. you. ever. come. accross. on. the. internet, just stick em all into one thread. no, not one for aliens, one for war, one for politics etc etc etc, just one for all of them. period.

people who are interested can check it regularly, people who dont care, dont have to see each new one every single day. i at least would be happy enough with that. what do you guys think?

As I,m posting here also, , my opinion is that he can post all the threads he wishes in the lounge, as long as they dont cross Canreef posting rules.

Of course when members express their agreement and dis-agremment with such, then the staff posts their views or Canreefs, whichever is needed.
