make shure you are doing your water changes very friquently (with RO/DI) in the first month, start removing your PO4 from day one and run a good clean skimmer cup/neck if you want to keep all that life on the rocks. JM2CW |

well i seem to clean my skimmer cup out daily, even though there might not be a tonne of gunk in there. i clean it out anyways.lol. then scrub the heck out of it and the neck.
apart from the daily freshwater topoffs, ive probably done the equivalent of a 10-20% water change. but the tank hasnt been up for too long. the water parameters seem good now as well (90+% of the LR was fully cured). ammonia has gone away. nitrite 0, ammonia 0, and nitrate is .2 to .8... im adding chaeto today, and possibly a small frag of something. |
