Default What happens if you add to much kalk?

FWIW i add 1.5-2 tsp of kalk per gallon(keep in mind that i have a fully stocked reef with many calcium demanding creatures). sure you can get precipitation of calcium if you dose too much kalk, but personally i would be more worried about the possible pH swing due to a kalk overdose.(saturated kalk has a high pH~12)

how big is your tank? and how much kalk do you dose?

as long as your drip rate is slow, ~1drop /second, you shouldnt have any problems.
