![]() I have a PS2 for my livingroom tank and it is dead silent. According to their website it does increase tank temperature 3-4 degrees but I've only noticed a 1 degree increase. I'm sure it would be even less in a 135 gallon.
I agree with Michika that you might want to look at a pressure rated pump (the PS2 & 3 are but the PS1 & 4 are not) so you can have better control over return flow.

![]() If noise is the main thing then you could look at a Red Dragon pump. I know they're expensive but having a quiet tank in your living room is worth a lot. The 10m3 is about 2400gph and it's around $800/$900.

![]() Thanks for all the replies. Some great info here!
Mr Alberta, I am going to be doing a custom sump, so the plumbing wont be an issue, and I wouldn't want to start moding a brand new pump either. Jaws - A Red Dragon pump is a little bit out of my price range, although I am sure that they are very nice. Mark - Thanks for the links, I have had a good read through Skimmin's thread and picked up some useful stuff there. I think that due to the heat issue, the fact that I would need two poseidon pumps the reeflo snapper is looking like it is going to be the winner.
