145g BB mixed reef. Dart (3600gph) on a CL with OM 4 way, plus a Iwaki MD-70RLT on return (with head I'm still flowing ~1000gph).
How tank is laid out (returns and rock) think I'm about max for flow as getting difficult to find lower flow areas for stuff like LPS and clams. |

On my 210g LPS dominated reef, I have a Hydor Koralia4 (1200gph), 2 @ Tunze Nanostream 6045s (2x1100 gph), a Mag7 return split 2 ways (500 gph), and a Sedra 9000 return (700 gph). That's approximately 4600 gph flow after head loss, and all the flow is higher up in my tank.

On my 135 mixed reef (72x24x20) I have one Tunze 6000 on a single controller (1850 gph) plus an Eheim 1260 return split three ways (one looped back into the sump (~400 gph back into the tank).
That's not all that much but I have less live rock than most others have in tanks of this size and the rock is arranged to allow for Gyre-type flow - think of a racetrack with the water circling around the track and the rocks in the middle infield. So I've been able to get away with less gph and powerheads. |

oops, I forgot to answer the whole question...for the first one I would love more flow, but none on the second one.
