I'm in the process of changing from salt to freshwater planted with CO2
due to health reasons...A friend,Dale on canreef ,has great knowledge about freshwater so I'll be picking his brain on my setup...once I have things up and running I'll post a new thread

I think it would have to depend on what other equipment you have, and if you don't have it, what you're willing to spend to get it! With a FOWLR, you wouldn't need strong lighting, but you'd still need a pretty decent skimmer on a 120G, I'd think.
