Hmmm. That's exactly what I did, except the 1" coupler doesn't fit snugly over the shaft, that's why I used teflon to tighten it up a bit.
Oh well, sorry for hijacking your thread. And thanks for your help! At least I know others are trying this and it's working

My camera has a rapid fire setting on it, I have had good results by just holding the button and following the fish I want a picture of.
