![]() I have attached a picture of what I believe is a Sea Cucumber. Can anyone confirm this? This one is about 3 inches long and normally burrows in the sand but this morning I managed to catch it out in the open and get a picture. Is this creature beneficial to have in my tank or are they considered a pest?

![]() I believe it is a tiger sea cucumber and they are good for stirring your sand. Definetly not a pest.

![]() yup, that's a tiger tail cucumber alright. did you have it hitch in on your rock or something? that's a lucky find... most people with these things have to buy them.

![]() I used to have one and it could stretch from the back of my tank to the front. It liked to stay in the back and would stretch out from there so before long all of my sandbed ended up behind my rock work.
