![]() Quick question, Wavysea or Wavysea Plus? I'm wondering why mine won't work for me.

![]() It doesn't stay within its set limits. I want to have it on a 90 degree sweep, it's in the centre of the tank (cube tank) facing forward, so basically from pointing to front left corner to front right corner. It runs fine for a few hours but invariably (and it has to only happen when I'm no longer watching it, it figures!) it starts to "drift" to the right, i.e., it goes a little too far to the right each time and not enough back to the left. Eventually it gets itself completely turned around and facing backwards and the Seio is caught up on its own wires or something.

![]() Running fine without the Seio for 2 days now. I guess there's something about the Seio or just the way I had it mounted that doesn't work. What's weird though is that I had mounted it the same way niloc16 and Superfudge have their Tunzes mounted, ie. just a PVC cap that's drilled to accomodate the pump, over the output pipe.
But I notice that the pipe output looks metric, ie. the O.D. looks like 30mm where with 1" proper the O.D. is (I think 1-1/4", which is 32mm). Maybe I need to go find a metric PVC supplier and see how that goes instead. Colin, you just used a 1" PVC cap or did you use something else? I had to wrap a copious amount of teflon over the pipe before the 1" cap fit snug. I thought this would be OK but apparently not ...

![]() i just used a 1" pvc cap with a 1" union (if that is what it is called ) for extra length to get the pump further in the water and the wavysea further out of the water. but the union slips right over the orings of the wavysea shaft and it holds it tight
