Try Rona. Im pretty sure they carry 2 feet and 4 feet lengths.

I'm sure I could cover almost everything. I may not have the 2" but I might have it in 2" flex

I have had this problem too but have not been able to find anywhere yet selling small scraps...I know what you mean though about buying 10' for a 6 inch section
