Looks more like a majano (sp) anemone if you ask me but it is difficult to tell from the picture.
If it is I would nuke the works as they are just as bad as aptasia and harder to kill.

Looks more like aiptasia to me rather than majano. Nevertheless they are still undesirable and should be eliminated.

ok, it's not aptasia ... isn't that what you wanted to hear?

Tough to tell by the pictures but it does look more like majano. Either way, a little Joe's Juice or boiling water in a syrnge should take care of it. Better to wipe it out early before it spreads even more.

Crap. I hate this hobby and I've only been in it for 169 hrs and 3 minutes. JK. Thanks for the input. Bring on the boiling water. Need to order some of Joe's juice tomorrow, gonna be a battle.

Thanks for the input,
Brad

Just take one of the pointy syringes that come with a Salifert test kit, fill it with kalkwasser slurry, and shove it down their throat.... they don't seem to like it.

i must say that joes juice killed my couple of aiptasia immediately, however never had majano nor tryed joes juice on it so not sure about them, but for this case to me looks more like majano imo, either way don't delay, blast em' while there still not established

Next question. Does majano come in colors other that green? Are there different species (kinds) of Aiptasia? I'm going to smoke a couple of the Anemones with lemon juice at lunch time and see what happens. It'll take a few days to get Joe's Juice to the boonies where I live.

Thanks
Brad
