My frogspawn seems to be having a hard time adjusting. I got him home around 5:00 Friday night, and he was closed up tight and remained that way through yesterday. He opened up a bit this morning under that actinics but once the hallides came on at noon he has been totally retracted into his skeleton. I just moved him around to see if the placement was incorrect.

Tony,
There were only 5 sps pieces on hold for me. I've managed to id most of them and you will have access in due time.
I can always fix you up with a frag of that purple monti as well
Don't forget I am still coral-sitting your sps for you, some of which is getting quite interesting, so when is that 280 going up so I can help you fill it? It's going to be fun.

Hey Snappy, thanks man, and you know I'm just teasin' right? (In all fairness ... you had already come and gone when I got there, Albert and the gang just hadn't cleaned off the glass yet so the message was just still there.)

Anyhow, here's the frogspawn I picked up. Not as nice as Greg's but .. well, I think it has some potential.

Same piece, halides off but actinics on, with flash:

Not sure which photo I liked better. The green comes out more in the actinics-with-flash but I guess it's probably not all that true of a representation.

Try with just actinics, a tripod and and extended exposure...

When I got there on Friday night, it looked like business as usual. There was only 1 SPS left, etc. So I just ended up buying two acan frags and an echino frag. Ah well....still like 'em

And Tony, I almost never take aquarium photos with a flash. I don't like the shadows it creates. Do you have photoshop? I find I can under/overexpose a photo at the tank, and correct it quite easily at the computer
