I'm actually looking at picking up one a new reef octopus skimmer for my new tank.
How's it been for you so far? I have one of the smaller HOB ones and it's fantastic on my 40.

Skimmer works fairly well. I didn't like the original venturi setup, so I modified mine a bit and it seems to suck in much more air now. The foam it creates is pretty thick, but, unfortunately I need to run the water level a lot higher in the skimmer than I would have liked.

Hey Catherine,

I got some new stuff, but its all still sitting at Lando's place. I wanna get the tank running right before I start adding the "expensive stuff"
