Cool Saltwater PH

PH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of water
PH reading 7.0 is neutral
PH higher than 7.0 is alkaline
PH lower then 7.0 is acidic
PH should run between 8.2 and 8.4...8.2 is ideal
I have mine running at 8.1 to 8.2

I think this is the real issue here....My Alk is about about 7.4KH. If I can get that to come up, it should reduce the size of the daily swing.

Mind you...I've been trying to increase Alk for quite some time now.

I've been very cautious with the reactor as I didn't know what the pH of the tank was doing. Now that I can see that, I'll lean on the reactor a bit more.
