I want to do an external overflow box, and I didn't really want to to make it a full 1ft tall only like a half sized box. Originally I planned to run two drains in the overflow. Am I going to run into difficulties? |

![]() If you're doing two drains you should be fine as it says you need 2.06 inches of drain. I would imagine you're going to do 2 x 1.5" (standard)? By increasing the drain size I would imagine it decreases the amount of linear overflow you need.
Its not the depth of the box that counts but the length that the water actually overflows over. By increasing the gaps between the teeth you can also get away with more flow.
