I should clarify, when I said "not notice him/her" I meant in the capacity of mod. Mod contributions to regular threads are an obvious benefit to the community.

yes i agree that a mod is like a good ref. but even good referees have to say "this is where i draw the line, this is where i step in." there are set rules (set by the owner of the board), mods keep the rules, we abide to them. if we dont abide to the rules and insist on making our own, then theres no point in having the ref to keep them are there? sometimes a ref HAS to step in, not because they want to or because they simply can, but because the players themselves are out of line.

thankfully, i find that our "refs" dont need to step in as often as in some other boards.

NR stands for nano-reef. great site for nano aquariums... obviously. www.nano-reef.com
