![]() I am an instructor but havnt dove our waters for 6 yrs now./ I worked in the Cayman Islands for 1 yr . 4 dives a day times 5 days a week for a yr. 1000+ dives got me lazy. The thought of all the work to suit up for cold water has lost my interest. I just fell off the boat with just swim trunks on . Dissapointing becauase our diving is amazing!!! I would suggest the Cut , at WhyteCliff park in Horshoe bay if you are experienced. Currents can rip so check the tides. Kelvine grove is great if you want to see the 18 foot plus octopus!!! At around 95 feet in the long crack on the solid wall face. Grab a crab, tap on the wall outside his den and he will put one of his arms out and take the crab from you. Wolf eels at ansell are great if they are still around. If you want a good day trip do the breakwater at ogden point victoria or one of the destroyers sunk around nanaimo. Have fun!!

![]() I'm a Divemaster & still dive quite often, if we're gonna do this, why not go big? Let's hit the Saskatchawan in Nanaimo. I'll never get tired of her.

![]() Ok so it looks like there might be some interest.
I would love to jump over to the Island and dive the Sask, but how about the first one be local to get some interest. I know the wolf eels are gone from Ansel. I tried 3 times to find them. I'd love to do Kelvin again Cprowler and I are going to do a night dive @ whytecliffe Monday night. If anyone wants to join. If not we can still set something up for next week end or behond J |
