![]() LOL...I was wondering why you needed help identifying the coral! But everyone was shooting guesses at the coral, so I ran with it
![]() I have never seen a shrimp like that before. In fact, I don't even know what I'm looking at? Can you get a full body shot? (ooh-la-lah...) |

Well my own fault i need to be more specific for sure. I've been tryng to get a clear shot at this thing for long time but it is so transparent that point and shoot camera doesn't focus on it. I will try with my D70 in manual mode to get a better shot. |

![]() If the shrimp is all transparent I would say it's a crystal shrimp. However if the red and white (that I see in the pic) is part of the shrimp (which I think it is) then I have no idea what type it is. Good luck. BTW I thought it was funny everyone was telling you what coral it was, when I thought for sure you must mean the shrimp ID

![]() I got curious so I thought I'd try to find it on the net. Anyway it is a Periclimenes Koroensis more commonly know as a type of Aneomone shrimp. There is pic's of it in the shrimp/crab identification section (on canreef) under aneomone shrimp part. There is also a pic. under this site http://www.eyefathom.com/photos.php?picID=1405 Unfortunately these sites only tell you what it is not how to take care of it

![]() They are neat looking, I assume they were hitchhikers? I have read that when a crab or shrimp is hosting an anemone and a fish decides that he wants to host usually the fish wins.
