well I'm not the only one doing the planning and I would assume that the weekend is a bit less busy for most. I'm sure there will be another weekend meeting/tour/something coming up soon

Going to the fireworks does not interfere with going to Untamed's bbq because you don't have to head there until 7 or 8pm at the earliest. The fireworks start at 10pm, so you could easily do both.
