Default Calcium reactor inquiry

The reef tank is about a week old and just have live rock in it. Is it a must to install the Calcium reactor right away? Alk: 9 DkH , Ca:520 , pH:8.4

no real need for a reactor till you start to have corals that will consume the calcuim

No for now, and maybe not ever (lots out there use additives) but the reactor route is nice.

Might want to retest your Ca, seems high.
