Thanks for the comments.

There is a reason I don't allow bowling balls on my staircase. You can move in anytime as long as you pay my taxes and utilities.

Diana:
I have the Tiger Shark Magnet from J&L aquatics. It has a real wood covered outer magnet. I also have a second one with the Easy Blade Scraper Attachment so I don't leave it in the tank.

You are all welcome to my home if you are ever in the Lethbridge region. I would love to have some positive criticism or recommendations. Sometimes I feel so isolated from fellow reefers or LFS. Heck, I might even be able to find a cold beer in the fridge.

Man you guys have soom cool setups. My tank was banished to the basement in my new house (noise & light polution) so I have nothing to share for this thread. Maybe in a couple of years when the basement is finished I'll have something to compete with.

Order of priority...get the tank done...finish the rest of the basement next!

thats exactly the finish i was wanting for the base of my new tank. Is that a concrete base under the tank and are those rocks the finishing kind with a flat edge? where do you get those at? thanks

Those are fake rocks that are commonly used on the exterior of houses. They are flat on the back and the corner ones are unique. I got them from an outdoor gardening place. There are all kinds of shape and textures. There's even one designed to look like coral, but it is shaped in regular bricks so I didn't go for it.

Man I get ya with feeling isolated here. Lol. Beautiful design and build though. Nice to see such a slick looking set up locally. It even looks like you finished the outside of your mag float in oak? Amazing build man!
