![]() I don't really see any problem with hooking the two inline, except for the fact that you lose the ability to adjust the flowrates of each independently, which may or may not be a headache - I'm not sure. Typically, as time goes on, calcium demand tends to grow, which may dictate an increase in flow in the calcium reactor, potentially overwhelming the denitrator. So it may not work forever, but there's no reason no to try it in the meantime.

![]() thanks for the input i'll just give it a go for now. i've always had my reactor output at a fast drip but not a tricke, and with the denitrator perfered setting at 3 drips a second seems to be pretty much the same for now. if later down the road it needs changing then i'll deal with it then . thanks

![]() Hey, what design or website, etc. did you use for your build? And how difficult was it?

![]() i used this plan
http://2hot2cool.com/4/afishianado/afishian.htm and this is the same thing except the coils are on the outside. http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/sh...ad.php?t=18394 project costed me about $40-$50 and a few hours time. wasn't too difficult, most difficult part was to get the coil wound up in the inside. |
