So, what are you going to do with your nightmares when you come back?
Talked to any war veterans lately?
May be wise that you do, BEFORE you make final decision….Big brass generals make money while young solgers die...killing hundreds of others. what is so great about that? You think this is big 3D Xbox game?
JMHO.

Well lets see life sucks and it sucks more when I have to do my job. or when you have to do my Job!!!. I have been over seas on many occassions and this will be my 5th tour over there. I can honestly say war doesnt affect me as it suppose to do. I try not to let it affect me on the most days or does it get in the way of my daily living. ya people die that is life for a small token of freedom. and no I don't think that this is a 3D xbox game . I take your opinion very serious and where in the hell do you get off saying that its a 3d Xbox game? Buds you have alot of nerve saying that I dont really care if I offend any one I wear the uniform for my country no one was there to offer me any help when I had a russian AK -47 pointed in my guts, or did any one offer to let me talk. lots of people talk and talk about on how the army is killing people over there. Its not the army doing it, its their goverment. I do what I'm told and that is the bottom line when I'm over there I have to worry about 10 soldiers from day to day and I have to ensure that they are well taken care of too. and make it back on every operation.

At the end of the day I don't get a chance to make Final decisions about going over they tell me that I'm going over cut and dry

I have had over 15 soldiers that were KIA (KILLED IN ACTION). Every day i think about them and think what would have happened if it was me. But I don't think that way when you time is there its there, you can train on every possiable incident that can happen over there from First aid to returning fire. but IED's (improvised explosive device) is something that you can't. And for the record I'm not a little punk that just walked off the streets I have trained with probably some of the most effective soldiers that went over there. Lets look at it this way lets put you in my shoes. your the Detachment Commander and your mother and Father are getting shot at and you have to return fire at the the other end to ensure that they make it out alive. But there is offending forces not leeting you return fire and there 17-25 yrs old. are you going to let them shoot you or are you going to ensure you make every possiable mean to see your parents again.

At the end of the day Im proud of all the training that I have been put through and all the training that I have passed on to others in my career in the army.

But that is ok you can sit in your office and work away aways getting the chance to come home tonight and eat proper meals, let alone sleep in a warm bed. while I'm out staying up all night to complete my training and some times not eat for 20-48 hrs later, because Im ensuring that my troops are taken care off. Or I might not be able to sleep in a cozy bed but dig a hole and sleep when its -50 out or raining out for the next 4 7 days. but hey I don't mine but at the end of the day If I have helped someone get back to thier base all because I fired at a target for my Infantry brother to suceed in their mission then I dont care if taliban soldier are killed.

SO if you havent had a chance to serve over seas or put on a uniform keep your 3D XBOx games out of it. may be you should put on what I have to wear from day to day in 70 + weather,

weapon with live ammo- 25 lbs
frag vest- 30 lbs
helmet 10 lbs
tactical vest 40 lbs
dismounted mortars/with ruc/sak 160lbs
my self 215 lbs

getting home after 7 months PRICELESS

Pretty easy for someone to sit back and make comments like that. I think we all need to be very THANKFUL for the soldiers that are over there fighting right now. We choose our paths in life and obviously being in the Army is not for everyone, but i have alot of respect for those of you who do choose that path because I know myself I could never do it. I wish you and your troops the best of luck and I hope you all make it back safe and sound.

I personally think the idea of ROLMAO about someone being killed for any reason is retarded. And in case your wondering I'm not some anti war person and have nothing against big guns just don't think anyone cares that you get off on killing people.JMO CLINT
