![]() Yes that does make sense. However I've tried changing the FTP path to "public_html" without success.
I did however note on the shaw website that if you are not on the shaw network (for example, I can't seem to access it at work) you can't upload to your website. I'm wondering if this applies to programs like blogger as well.

![]() Ah - you're trying to upload remote to shaw, that's your issue - Shaw has become VERY particular now with regards to who uses their servers. You can't check your email remotely without using their webmail.
Almost guaranteed that's your issue, only recommendation I have is to call Shaw to see if they have any options for third parties logging in to the FTP site, but like they told me with the email thing, chances are they'll give you nothin' **edit - why not look at cheap/free hosting options? Paying 2 or 3 a month might be worth it to get that freedom? |

![]() man that sucks, going back to telus really isn't an option (don't have a landline phone anymore, just a cell phone). Guess I'll have to look into having it hosted. Any suggestions for places to look into?
Thanks for your help ![]()

![]() I've heard some good things about:
http://www.wbws.net/ And they're only $5 a month - not a bad deal for what's offered. But you'd have to register your own domain name, which would be all of 5 or 6 a year - Godaddy is the way to go, use code Dawn, Drew, or DD3 to save some bling (doesn't go to me, btw ![]() |
