![]() No Starfire, could justify it for 3/8 glass. I didn't have him drill anything because I have access to all sorts of drill bits for that kind of stuff. Once I actually get the tank I'll start a new journal for the build up. But basicall I'm planning on a closed loop, and to use all of my exisiting equipment such as lighting, sump etc.
36x36x20" equals 112 gallons, minus the thickness of the glass should put it somewhere between 104 to 108 gallons. Danny

![]() Are you doing an overflow? If so, where? I was thinking of doing a centre overflow for mine and drilling a few holes on the bottom for a closed loop. Think that'd work, too?

![]() I haven't decided yet. I think I could do a center overflow, but a rear might work better since the closed loop will run out of the back of the tank anyway. Lots of time to figure out those details.

![]() I've got a center overflow. Kinda wish I didn't. It takes up alot of room that I'd rather use for rock work. And alot of the light gets lost in the overflow. But the center overflow does allow 4 sides of viewing if you can set it u that way.

![]() Sounds like a nice tank Danny. Look forward to the build thread.
Although smaller, I just ordered a 24" by 18" cube but 24" H. Also going with 3/8th. glass and Eurobrace. If you remember back a year or so ago, when I still had a decent size house, ![]()
