![]() It's a no-brainer, the 24" of depth (the front to back dimension) leaves you WAY more aquascaping options. Always go with depth.
If it's a DIY built stand, it would not be too difficult to "dress" it up a little, if you're a little bit handy. For example, since the structure is already sound, you don't have to worry about the exterior providing any additional support. Thus you could go with a thin layer of plywood, stained and varnished, and maybe some cabinet doors. Or heck, do as suggested and build an inwall tank. Makes for a super quiet tank viewing experience. ![]()

![]() I've always had 18" (front to back) tanks & now I have a 24" tank & it's awesome. Of course, now I wish it was 30" or more so that I would have more room to aquascape.
Seriously, having that extra space will open up many more options & your fish & corals will appreciate that extra 6". Anthony

![]() I think the correct answer would be to GIVE me the 90 gallon on my way back from Castlegar May long. That way you don't have to worry about what to do with it.

![]() What do you need? Right now I can do frags of pink rimmed cap, orange cap, frogspawn, green candy cane & bule prostrata (acro). Everything else is pretty small still. They should all make the 7-8 hour journey. Let me know if you need anything from the LFS.
