Smile Ocean City Inverts

3 peacock mantis, cuttlefish, tons of inverts.

This is easily becoming one of my favorite Invert hang outs. They seem to order anything you want! I am not sure whether other stores order and just don't order them, or the go through a different supplier, but very cool selection these days.

What's the price on them, Tim?

I've never seen any random shipments of Peacocks/Cuttlefish before.

I like Oceans too... great selection. We are pretty lucky to have stores like Red Coral, Oceans, and Golds in Calgary.

I was in Oceans last weekend and they had a few Powder Brown (white face) tangs that I've never seen in a Calgary LFS store before. I've only been into the hobby for six months or so, but are these tangs unusual to see for sale? Just wondering if I should snap one up now before they are all gone (assuming they still have some left), even though I would ideally like to let my tank mature a little longer before adding a tang.

Aren't cuttlefish pretty difficult to keep?

Super common fish.

Wait on it. They're ich magnets.

Drew, Albert's kept cuttlefish before. I've also read online journals and yes, they are extremely difficult to keep.

It seems that most of them waste away for no reason (from what I read) and many others take detours through water pumps.

And I quote Albert, "Hey Marco, my cuttlefish got pwnt by the water pump." to which I reply:

"Pwnt."

Make sure you QT to eliminate ich (and other diseases or parisites). Tangs are bad for ich, I got a kole tang recently and had to treat it. It didn't become obvious until three weeks into the QT. Glad I didn't rush it through. I don't want that hassle dealing with ich in the main tank.
